چکیده
We present a patient with bilateral multifocal serous retinal detachments after multiple trauma in car accident without preceding corticosteroid treatment. A 37-year-old was admitted to our hospital he had suffered body injuries accident. After being woken from an induced coma, complained of blurry vision his left eye, so underwent complete ophthalmic examination – several were found at the posterior pole both eyes, along thickened choroids. As there no intraocular inflammation, accelerated hypertension or other changes indicating causes detachments, and since we observed steady spontaneous subretinal fluid resorption, classified case as atypical central chorioretinopathy. Alternatively, could have occurred due transient alterations choroidal circulation following cerebral injury. In conclusion, this report adds new data on occurrence discusses their possible aetiology setting. Care must be taken not miss any underlying pathology needing

The ophthalmic examination revealed bilateral neurosensory detachments that resolved completely after four months of peritoneal dialysis. DISCUSSION Bilateral serous retinal detachments are a rare manifestation of IgA nephropathy, in which the etiology is probably multifactorial and their ...
